Community and School Based Behavioral Health
CenClear’s Community and School Based Behavioral Health service (CSBBH) helps children with severe emotional or behavioral problems, which are leading to issues at school, at home and in the community.
This program teaches children new ways to manage their feelings and behaviors so the child is ready to learn and get along better with others.
The CSBBH team includes a CSBBH director, a mental health professional, with a master’s degree and a professional license, a behavioral health worker with a college degree and a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist (that will provide consultation to the team).
The team will help develop a treatment plan that is right for the child and make changes to the plan as needed. The team will work with the child, family and school officials to provide services that are flexible and meet the needs of the child and family.
Regular progress reports will be provided and parents/guardians will be involved in every part of the treatment.
Services may include:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Sessions
- Case management
- Behavior Management Planning
- Crisis Intervention
- Services are generally approved for six months
- Children must qualify for Medical Assistance
- The child must live in a participating school-district
